Let me relate this to you real quick:
Last Weds, coming back from Boulder on 36 an M Roadster flew by me. So, I catch up, and we make our way through traffic. Finally the left lane opens as I'm right behind him. My friend just finished telling me
"You'll get slaughtered on the Hwy. They absolutely destroy me, so he's gonna kill you for sure"
I said
"We'll see"
So, as the lane opens up he hits it, I punch it right after and we start going from about 80MPH. At this point my car is in 3rd gear, which is 1:1 with my 2.93 gears, not exactly a passing gear! So the guy gets about 1/2 half a car immediately, I keep expecting him to pull away from me, 100MPH, still right with him, 110, 115, right there, we both let off at 120MPH and he hadn't pulled on me at ALL from the initial jump! I had 2 other people in my 3600Lbs car and he was all alone. I was very happy and my friend was impressed :)
On Friday, while we were waiting for my friends flywheel to be resurfaced I raced a 2nd gen GSX with 2 HS chicks in it...they lost :)
We also raced a new Celica GTS. Damn guy wouldn't get next to me at the light, he sat 1 car back to get the "jump" I guess, it didn't matter, by 40MPH I had a few cars on him.
