Just bored...Supra's in Ft. Collins...

Anybody see those 3 Supra's up in Fort Collins Saturday night? Pretty nice, I had no idea we even had any nice rides like that lurking around here. I know of 1 nice red Supra, but that one wasn't there.

the only red supra that i know of in fort collins has a wing and wheels and its a twin turbo that has a shit load done to it. i know he dynoed 438 RWHP and that was before he put different cams in it.

You may want to watch out for the red+wing+wheels supra as there are more than one and not all of them are no turbo if you get the drift

There was a red one, white one, and a pretty built looking blueish one, big single turbo etc.. I believe the red one had a FMIC, stock wheels. Not a clue if the white one had anything done. The other red one I know if is fast as hell too, but still has/had both turbo's on it.

yeah, they're pretty quick... both are single turbos, the red one has an SP60 with stock fuel. the blue one has a T78 with all the goodies, fuel system, FMIC, all the stuff.

The one I am refering to belongs to a kid that is still in HS and knows jack squat about cars. He didn't even know that it wasn't a turbo untill he opened his hood and we all laughed at him!!!

The three Supra's up in FC this last weekend were all single turbos...weird that we only see one or two a month and then thee come rolling around together. As far as the Red Supra+Wheels+Wing stuff goes...if it's sitting on Volks it fast. If it has cheap-o-brand 17's then its way ;gay;. Like someone else mentioned the red one is SP60 charged, the blue was T-78 (@ 1.3bar), and the white one is also T-78 (?trim) with a 75 shot of spray. All three would make short work of me along with 95% of the locals...hmmmm beg John to come down to FC and show these kids what tuning does for a car. Then I might get more dyno appt's...

Hey Dan,

I'm not sure who you heard that the white car is single, but they are full of shit. That car belongs to my boss and I can tell you that it is NOT single and does NOT have nitrous. It is BPU and thats it.

Okay, that was Justin's Supra? Cause there is one other white Supra automatic with the T-78 Greddy upgrade and a 75 shot dry system. I have been inside of it and will varify it's way fast (off the bottle). He is more into the cruising scene so I thought it was him. But, I am happy to hear that Justin came out for once. Anyway, either way I'll just stick my car to the Mustang and Rice diet till I get my big cams back.

P.S. I wasn't refering to a T60 when I said SP60, I was refering to a complete upgade package available for Supra's that utilizes a T66 single turbo upgrade and fuel system upgrade. Trust me I sell T60-1's like a coke dealer on Colfax so I wasn't being a moron, if I was I would have said, "they were running three Spoon engines with T66 turbos, with NOS!, and a Motec system exhaust."

SP60 is the turbo itself, not a total package upgrade. It does not use a t66 turbo. Sound performance has custom turbos made for them hence the designation SP.

We had a new Supra come into Powerhouse today, left with 580hp off the wet system......It's nice......belongs to the owner of Tri-City Cycles, he drives it instead of his '94 Viper now.

For the most part...still have tuning to do with the HKS AFR, and the nitrous has to be hooked up...but other than that he says it's running good. What about yours?? Any good kills lately?

well..I sent the turbo off to Larry to see if he could warranty it. This was last week...I suspect this will be a long drawn out thing..we'll see though. I might move up to a T66..but it just depends on how soon I get the SP60 back.

Steve's car should be done hopefully within the next couple of weeks....he's waiting on some head components to come in. It should run pretty strong once complete...atleast we're hoping it will.

I have a serious itch for some street racing......oh well:D

ps..who won the street comp class at Bandi.....The turbo broke in the middle of my last past.....so I did not stay to watch.

if you don't need that BOV anymore i'd take it back but if you're still using it it's not a big deal. yeah, i love that T78 it's running really strong. yeah, i'm saving my cash right now for a fuel system but it just got posponed because my clutch is slipping now so there goes a little cash.

my best was a 12.7 at 118 mph. plus a bad reaction time of a little over 1 and a bad 60 ft. time of 2.2
