View Full Version : my sister got a yaris today

Every dealer, including the one we got it from, said the yaris hatch was a 4-6 week wait. So we decided to go in anyway to test drive a sedan. Low and behold, a blue one happened to come in while we were there! My sister was stoked and jumped on it right away. Here's a few pics from my camera phone with it next to my ep.

She's extremely happy about it.. and I'm happy for her. The car itself isn't a bad car at all (yes, i drove it around).

Hey, you live down the street from me..... Anyway, I drove one a few days ago and thought it was a pretty solid car. Good for her!

I think the Yaris and the Fit both look nice and they are reasonably priced. Not everyone can afford a $22k civic si :(

Pink is the new black.....

But hey the Yaris is a solid car. How much that thing weighs? Assuming that it doesnt way too much this car could be a killer. It have a very dependable and solid rear suspension and the only thing holding it back is its lack of power. Toss in a turbo and you have yourself a nice performer.

Congrats to your sister! She's gotten something she really likes! Wish I was like that! I ALWAYS find something (sometimes many things) about a vehicle I just purchased to piss & moan about! *I know... I have issues!*
