I felt a little bad about winning the featured member since V8SpankR was running faster than me... well running at least anyway :).
BUT tonight at Bandi I am proud to say that I beat Paul... for now [heh].
Here is my worst run:
60' - 2.500 ... yes that's right... I lined up "in the groove" = REALLY STICKY
1/8 - 9.549
MPH - 80.40
1000 - 12.184
1/4 - 14.461
MPH - 99.31
But things got better over my next 4 runs...
My best run:
60' - 1.990 ... still LOTS of room for improvement
1/8 - 8.566
MPH - 81.98
1000 - 11.148
1/4 - 13.376
MPH - 101.38
I must admit I "cheated" a little bit and put 2 gallons of 104 unleaded in. I only ran 17.5-18psi though. Full interior, the only thing I took out was my sub and my tools, kept the spare and all. Weighed in at 3300lbs with me in the car (I liked that scale there...kinda neat).
So all in all good night. I like the fact that there is room for improvement on my 60' which could get me even deeper into the 13's. Maybe my lightened flywheel will put me into the 12's... hopefully [heh].
OH but I had to rent a STUPID helmet... dumb helmet :). Might have to get one of those if I keep this up.
One more thing. 1.8T (Jeff I think his name is) went with Phast and I and he ran a 15.1 on his first run and he's BONE STOCK!!! I thought that was really impressive. It was also kind of funny to see a not so good driver of a new Viper GTS getting the same times as myself

It would have been nice if you could have lined up with him!

had nothing to do with the driver. vipers are just slow junk regardless.
did anyone see the station wagon with the nitrous backfire. poped his hood and his carb was on fire, staff came running with an extinguisher but good not pull the "pin". while he struggled with the extinguisher another guy came and put a rag on the carb and the fire went out. laughed my ass off!!

davim_sh: were you the black wrx? you and phast (hey dude, I'm the guy who sold you the egt gauge) were tearing shit up hehe.
shane: i saw the wagon start on fire hehe. Did you see acurabro's green integra let off that HUGE fucking backfire the run right before it? looked like the back of the car was on fire haha.
or the truck who's entire wheel fell off?
yeah, that wagon went boom! fortunately didn't oil the track!
that pickup should have just stayed home.

Yah it was a pretty good time... like I said need some more practice. I am bummed I didn't even see or hear about the wagon that caught on fire. I did see the truck who had problems but his rear wheel came off because HIS ENTIRE right side axle came out of the diff with the wheel still attached :)!!
tdjb-potc - yah I was the black WRX, and Dustin yah I am running a VF22 @ 17.5psi.
I wouldn't mind upping the boost but that's not what I run on the street and every day (got it tuned for 1.23 bar) PLUS fuel cut/overboost would kick in... so I am thinking I can get a bit lower with a little more practice on the launches.

I suck and so does my car.
I was finally able to put together a 13.9@96 last nite. I was all over the 14s with 60's from 2.0 up to 2.4.

Last night sucked for awd 60' times.
I struggled with 60' s from 2.0 to 2.2 all night then I finally hit a 1.878.

Except for Dave Landry's 1.7x 60's he was getting... But I won't mention his times ... :). He was trapping at and around 110 all night though. Ahh big turbos and big boost... [sigh].

The truck thing happened one race before me, kinda crazy, He jsut launched and his wheel/axle went towards the wall. I did see any of the other stuff though
