An even contest suggestion with some controls

Alright, here goes. I've read all the BS thats flying back and forth. Here is my suggestion.
PS contest. Chop your ride.
Pick a date thats 2 or 3 days away for everyone to submit a pic of their own personal ride. This pic will be their acceptance and entry into the contest. All contestants will submit a pic of their own ride and must do their PS on that picture. Seeing how this is a car website, it is fitting that the subject of the contest is a car. Anyone who enters the contest but doesn't submit a final pick is subject to as much shit talking as they get. Anyone who fulfills the requirments of the contest, well, you may or may not get bragging rights. The usual poll thread will be started for the contest winner to be decided. This will even up the playing field a bit. It will be a challenge for everyone on many different levels. It will show who is actually participating in the contest(which I see as being the main problem with the corvair contest). Everyone who enters will have a vested intrest because it will be of their own car.

I hope that all made sense, and I hope that this contest is actually run.

That'd be somewhat difficult because we'd be judging on multiple cars. It really would be a lot easier to pick one car that everyone can chop. Some of us don't exactly have "chopable" cars if you will; or glamour shots (typically what one would use to chop). I like the idea though. If we can find one agreeable car to use; then I'm down - But we'd have to agree, I think Matt was one of the only people that wanted to chop the Corvair, all the pictures I chose were considered shitty. So I think we should make a poll first, with several legitimate chopworthy cars; post them in this thread, then make a poll so we can at least attempt to agree on something.

Yeah it is a little pixelated. I could look, but thats the only one I found - kinda cool looking. Concept cars are always fun to chop.

hehe I just noticed that. You're supposed to close one eye and zoom in on em'... Actually it's a projector that goes on your window... sucks during the day though! ... i dono.

Well I tried. However, I do think a time frame should be stated on any further contests for people to say whether or not they are participating. M@ got the shaft on the last one since no one stated they weren't participating untill after he posted his submission. The shit talking then flew. Granted he did cross the line on the BS talk, but he was pretty well set up to take a fall. I think this is a good way to keep it fair so this situation doesn't happen again. I'll also restate the car being the subject of the chop. He's gotten some crap there too, this is a website about cars so I don't think that asking to keep on that subject was by any means out of the question. Thats my opinion though.
