So the kid at TB who thinks his FWD Eclipse runs low 13's (when it actually runs mid 14's), says I should be embarrased to bring my car out.
Am I the only one who thinks that's funny that a kid with a riced out hack job DSM thinks I should be embarrased?

Yeah, i had to throw in my comments of how im sure you would love to challenge him to an autocross match which your car is set up for. I got no reply.
I kind of get tired of alot of people that own DSMs and think they own gods car...Yes it does fairly decent in most catagories, but it cant out do every car in every compition.

DSM's are great. If I hadn't got a Type R, I'd probably own one of them instead (A 2G). Of course I would have kept the stock turbo and worked mainly on suspension and brakes, because that's what I'm into, turning.
I just don't get the attitude, I mean he had to know I would see what he said. The guy knows I'm on car sites a lot and when people talk trash on the internet word gets around.
Oh well, when I see him I'll say something.

One other thing is the build quality of an Integra...Ive only been in a few, but they are damn nice. No rattles or crap like that, unlike my Neon and Laser.

That there is a disease that afflicts roughy 8 out of 10 DSM owners.
The high altitude seems to amplify the symptoms.
DSMs are great cars - they really are. I've considered buying another one since it won't have to double as my daily driver (and make me buy a bus pass). But if I did that, I might by default be lumped in the middle of the rest of the local DSM crews and clubs, and I'd really rather eat chocolate covered thumbtacks.
Not all local DSMers are bad people.
...Just two handfuls of them. IMO as always.

I bought a dsm for a few reasons:
1 price to own
2 the cars capabilities hp per $
3 awd, I drive in the snow all the time
4 I like the way they look
I didnt buy one so people wwould automatically look at me like Im an asshole

but when I even mention HAI on COstreetracing.com, my post gets edited?????

Those were my exact reasons also. If a few spoil it for the rest of us dsm owners, you just have to keep your lips closed and let the car do the talking. There is always gonna be someone that can out turn you, out accelerate you, out brake you and out drive you as well. Gotta accept that early on in life :drink: and learn from your competition without being an ass.

The reason it gets edited is because they are all butt hurt over there about us for some reason. I guess they are afraid we will take all their members or soemthing, who knows........I ahte to say it but a lot of the people on that site are just ass clowns about stuff. I knwo some people post here and there. We have never had a problem with that nor will we. I hate to break it to the webmaster over there, but this is the internet and censorship is ;gay; Brian has worked jstu as hard on this site and we pay just as much for it every month just like him, but you don't see us getting all upset when someone posts about Costreetracing here.

I'm not trying to sound ;gay; but it seems like HAI is a much more mature group than COSR. I read both boards, but it just seems like you guys know a lot more about stuff (that actually matters) than they do. Instead of discussing how high your wings are, your discussing things that matter, and you attend events. Once again I'm not being ;gay;, just voicing my opinon.:smoker: :drink:

Personally...NO.
The only reason I've been overthere is to get in touch with some of the local guys from over here... I was talking to a guy with a GTP that says he knows Murdock. I said I'd never met him, but knew of him from "HAI". He asked what HAI was. I actually had to debate for a while if I was going to respond. That site does seem WAY immature. I kind of feel like this is my own little escape to talk to some really knowledgable guys, and I really didn't want some of the Local yahoos screwing it up. Then I figured that the idiots would just eventually leave anyways (ala MiniDick, guess he tired of us gangin his mom and sis?). So I posted "HAI=Highaltitudeimports.com", next day, it says "HAI=COstreetracing.com"

On a side note i've been giving that guy hell over there with hte eclipse. He is an ass clown. He actually said a friend of his ran a 13.6 in a bone stock DSM..........my freakin ass he did. Oh and Isaiah or steve, want a quick 500 dollars? Now he is talking about beating up on us on the bike he should have in a month

Well Ryan and I went over to where he was hanging out and ripped into him good. He claims somebody else used his name to bash me on COSR,yeah right.:rolleyes:
He also agreed to race Pat at 2nd creek and I told him we'll be their in force with several cameras to record the event.
