90 civic hb fuel pump

I'm lookin it to upgrading my fuel pump, do I really have to pull the tank, or is it possible to do it through the plug under the back seat like the 92-95. I really hope its that easy, if not I think I'll pay somebody to do it.

nope. you do have to drop the tank the inspection cover is only for the sender, or atleast that's the way it was on my crx, start by pulling the inspection cover and if it's a lock ring then it's just the sender but if it's bolts then it should be the pump and you should be good....

BE CAREFUL when switching to an aftermarket pump, make sure it matches
where your stock strainer goes and isn't too far up to where it can get the right amount of fuel, don't just throw it together first and hope it fits,
had someone do that before and i had to order him anew pump

yup i had to drop the tank on my 91 civic to put my pump in ... the part under the rear seat has to be unhooked also to drop it... its not really that hard to do if you dont have a full tank of gas then you can flat back it in your drive way and save some $
