I think I have raced that guy also, down Ken Caryl at Pierce. He was very loud, pretty fast, cool guy but he was beat again.

Yep that's him, I think he only had a driver seat in the car, but I am unsure. I also saw him out at University at Orchard, I was wondering if he was on this forum?

Hey Steve, this is Jason from Bandimere (Vortech and Hondata), the guy said that he had a 5lb turbo that he said he was still in working with. :)

Well I finally dynoed and after 30-40 minutes we got the air to fuel set up and turned 234 whp, not to bad, but this could be much better after some serious tuning. I talked to Doug at Hondata and he said that with some map tuning at his place I could be in store for 280 to 290 at the wheels. :eek: So we will see. I finally saw Bandimere 2 weeks ago and my best time was a 15.8 :confused: 60' were a sad 2.7 (need to work on that)!!! But my times got better as the day went on. I think if the weather holds I want to go to T&T tonight, but what is up for Friday?

i need to improve my emabressing 2.5 60':o

Hey Jason this is Ted with the black swaped hatch :) Your car is alot quicker than what you did that day! Didn't you say the Hondata only is set at 3000 rpms on the launch? If so you need to launch alot higher since your powerband is pretty close to that of an turboed Si.

Friday night is the Club Clash, you can run with us under the "highaltitudeimports.com" club and if you register you get add points up and at the end the give out trophies for the top people.

What's up Ted? My launch was set at 3000 rpm's and on my last run I set it to 3600 rpm's (the 15.8), and it made a big difference so my plan is to diffently go higher. I really need to spend some time in the car at the track, get my thumb out of my ass at the line and gain some needed experience, hopefully tonight :cool: anybody else think they might make it, of course if weather permits?

Yea, times did suck that day, but that was my first day at Bandi with my Vortech (a little nervous). Speeds were not as bad, on my last run, speed was 94.? so I will work with that

Let me know what's up for Friday, I am all for it. My goal was to be in the low 14's maybe high 13's to compete with Nate and all the other WRX's out there, yea Nate I saw the 13.99 run, nice job! :D

Yeah, that was me. The all motor car went turbo... sad? Yes. Turbo cheaper? Hell yes. I finally got all the kinks worked out of the system when I went to Bandimere tonight. I threw a fish-tank valve (Manual Boost controller) on the wastegate vacuum line, and here's how she performed, I turned the boost up to 8psi:

R/T: .475 (oops redlight)
60': 2.242
330: 5.973
1/8: 9.050
MPH: 80.52
1000: 11.684

1/4: 13.919
MPH:101.48

Aside from that, crazy to see the blue Si w/ the Vortec on here, but from my perspective, it didn't seem like their was a clear victor. But when I raced you both, I was at 5psi. Also: Yeah, it's louder than anything else becuase the downpipe was too long, so I need to take about 10" off the exhaust to get it to fit up, it's just straight downpipe, and I'm too lazy to fix it :) I used to be on this board all the time, but it's been a while, I've heard everyone is JRSC'ed out now, which in my opinion, the JRSC is a piece of garbage, but whatever, that's just me. Anyhow, I'm sure I'll see you all around soon.

hahahahaha, yeah, I thought she was going to try to open my door up or something. Oh, yeah... btw, my seat was just all-the-way reclined, it wasn't out, but the rest of the interior is now. I think I'm going to mess w/ the fuel system, and see what that does. I found some DSM injectors that are 450cc, might be a tad bit big, but it's worth a shot.

coolio...looks like we are pretty even on our 1/4 mile, my 60' is better, your trap speed is faster..........but, I can tow my Jetski + 4 other people ;) can't do that with the teg!!
