today at school

Today as I was walking to school from the parking garage, I heard the loudest import I have ever heard. It was a green Integra (94-01) with steelies. I could just barely hear the whine of a turbo over his exhaust.

Keep in mind that I drove my 73 super beetle today. It has a stinger exhaust with no muffler. It has a 4-2-1 style header, and on one side where it goes from 2-1 the pipes are not even conected. So I am basicaly running a half open header on this thing.

And this guy's car was WAY LOUDER! I could hear him drive everywhere in the garage. Before I turned around, I thought that it was some old Ford truck or something. I think he is running an open header, but it is crazy loud. I was going to find his car and write him a note to come here, but I was too lazy.

By the way, I go to CU at Denver down at Auraria Campus. Does anyone know who this is. If you've seen or heard him you will never forget it.

Maybe, but he was going into the garage to park. Maybe he has been working on it all winter and now he is driving it to school.

Heyyyy, that's me. Yeah, it's a loud one. The downpipe doesn't fit up to the cat and exhaust, I need to chop the exhaust, but haven't gotten around to it, so it's open downpipe for now. I goto Metro, I'm done now, which is sweet, but those last couple weeks, I would go into the garage and set off 10-15 car alarms daily, I felt bad because people would think that someone was messing with their cars, but it was just my lazy-ass. It's not the loudest it's been though, when my car was nautrally aspirated, I ran a straight header for the last IDRC race, no turbo in the way to quiet things down, that thing was LOUD. But check my post in the HAI vs. All forum for what the turbo's done for me.
