Supercharged GT VS Me

So Steve and I were on union coming home from the gym. We were coming up to a light and we hear someone yell "SHIT BOX". I look around and I hear it again "SHIT BOX". I look over and it's a couple of middle aged guys in a newer silver mustang GT. I yell "BRING IT", and wave for them to come on. I switch lanes and follow them. We get to a red light and the guy asks what I have done. I'm nice and tell him it's supercharged, he kinda acts shocked and goes "supercharged huh". So the light changes and we both take off. I get a slight jump, but to my surprise he is right there. We shift to second and he lays down some rubber, but i'm still neck and neck. I pull a few inches as I shift to third then some dumb ass turns in front of us so I let off. I roll up next to him and the guy goes "IT'S STILL A HONDA"....Well at least I was ahead :D. So I aks his mods. To my surprise he says just a charger and chip.......holy crap he was supercharged, that explains why he was on me so close. We give each other the thumbs up and go our separate ways. Be on the lookout for a silver GT with red emblems. Even though the guy apparently hated honda's he seemed pretty nice or at least respectful.

Nice job....My friend is getting the SC kit that runs 12lbs of boost for his 03 GT...it supposedly makes about 200hp over stock. I wonder what kit this guy was running...Probably that little air swirly thing that goes into the intake...lol..

Back in 99 I believe they had a factory option for a supercharger. It was low boost similar to the rousch stage 3. The only one I saw run with one at bandimere was running 14's. Sopunds reasonable....

oh there are exceptions to the rule for sure, but I've found most of the guys that own either Mustangs, Camaros, or Firebirds (pony cars you could call them), talk a lot of shit amongst eachother and are anti anything that isn't domestic. I love domestics, and I absolutely love V8's, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be schooled by 75% of the people here running 4 cylinders. I try not to talk trash because I can't back it up :) Some people can't back it up, and talk shit anyways, and I've found that is usually the guys with the V8's.

He ment to say he Fixs Or Repairs his car Daily. I've met a lot of domestic drivers, it seems like most ford drivers are dicks, not all but most. All the camero and transam drivers are chill. I think ford needs to put a disclaimer in the factory manual that say something like "You may get smoked by a honda"

I think he meant something along the lines of...

you chatting with someone and telling them you have a 400 hp Neon verses...you telling them you have a Viper.

of course the contrast is a less more from a SC Si to to a Mustang.

Did anyone see the 92 hatch in this months issue of Turbo? I think it was putting down 300whp on a DragIII kit w/ 9psi boost. Now that is a nice ride.

I personally know a guy with a Mustang 99GT the thing looks amazing 18 wheels, cobra body kit and he just recently droped a charger and claims to had good runs with a TT supra@15psi and a Shelby Cobra he is now hunting for a stock viper

I haven't had the pleasure of racing a Supra TT yet, but I've run REALLY well against a Hennessey Venom 550 Viper R/T.

Teg: Any more info on your buddies Stang?? Like what kind of blower, and what other mods, (if any) he's got done?
