He's in Colorado Springs, I'm in Westminster. If you wanna drive clear down there for hot tanking, feel free. I can do it locally and have it back to you the same day.

lol. Not quite, I just have the capability of getting it done same day, and for cheap. So if they want it done same day locally for a good price, I can do it. ;)

Yeah, $30 ain't bad at all. I was paying $50 through all-pro when I worked with them, haven't priced out machinists near my shop yet. And with most machining work hot-tanking comes free.

Is your hot tank aluminum safe? I have a brand new pair of heads for my car that are still coated in cosmoline, needs to be stripped off.

Yep. I've hot tanked about 7 Honda blocks, a couple Honda heads, a few intakes, etc.

I thought of that immediately after posting, forgot honda uses aluminum blocks for a minute there. I'm used to heavy ass iron blocks and alum heads. First time I went to put a Honda motor on the stand, I damn near died of laughter when I lifted it on with one hand. My bare block weighs about 110 pounds, feels like twice that :(

What'll you charge to do 2 heads (v6)? I have them at home in Lafayette, much easier to bring them to Westminster than hauling them up to my machinist in Longmont just for cleaning before any work is done.

Hahahah. Yeah, Honda blocks are skinny little sluts. Not so much with a crank, rods, pistons, maincaps in it though. :D

If you want me to do those heads for you, PM me and we can meet up sometime.
