You guys might want to take it down a notch... I happened to cross paths with the people from the Longmont meet on Saturday night, and the reckless driving had even me tempted to give the cops a call. I'm all for having fun, but that was just begging for trouble, and I'm sure there was plenty more that I didn't see. I realize that everyone in the group would have been busted for the actions of a few idiot drivers, but I promise you that the general public is much less considerate of that then I am. Just something to think about for next time...

:rofl: Well, what I saw wasn't quite that bad... it was just a bunch of kids failing miserably at taking a corner fast and then recklessly cutting off other cars and otherwise pissing them off. I'll give them credit though... at least they didn't try to drift it. :rofl: I hear they got pretty reckless again when they got a bit east of town.

Damn I had forgotten, there were a couple of different groups that left at different times. But either way, yeah that's good advice.

They were making a left from Hover onto Ken Pratt (aka Highway 119)... it's the sharp downhill turn. Most of them ended up understeering into the other lane, then they all cut across traffic to get into a parking lot where they met up with the rest of the group. The entire group took off out of there right away, heading East for I-25, and they seemed somewhat behaved until at least Main street (that's where I turned). However, my sources tell me that people got pretty reckless again when they got outside of town and while getting onto I-25 (and I'm not just talking about the speed). I didn't see that part, so who knows, but the part I did see was more than enough to make the average person think about calling the cops.

I was the first to pull into the parking lot, and there was no understeering by myself, I am familiar with that turn. I got in the far right lane since I knew not everyone would make it though the light to pull into the parking lot. Plus there was no cutting across traffic, we were the only ones coming from the turn light? And yes we pulled back out once we saw others turning from the light. Haha hell, I was cruising behind a prelude the whole way down. There was a focus or someone trying to get it on with a couple of people but I can't keep them under orders. ;)
