i forgot how much fun it was to get ready for race season.
we have gotten the new engine in the car but it's all the little shit
that's driving me crazy, everything has to be changed, damn B18C's.
The vacumm lines are different, placement of TB etc. we have to keep moving shit around and more and more parts. Frank down @ Denver Motorsports
has been helping me with the annoying shit and has been rewelding the
piping so it will fit. amber helped put the new engine back together and has been
tearing the old LS down to see what happened and she also is working on the wiring of all the new gauges, and fitting the fascia to the new intercooler. I on the other hand have been trying to make sure i have all the parts i need, test fitting measuring, cutting etc. SERVION came by the other day when he was in town to see how it was coming but sometimes it feels like you'll never be done. i'm just glad Frank has been letting us use the shop and has helped us on it so much otherwise i would've pulled all my hair out by now, lol. I forgot how tight of a fit the external wastegates can be in the front also. frank is also building the DP and dump tube and later next month we will have to bring it bac in to build a DP to work with the stock cat, i hate colorado for the testing crap every couple of years.
sorry just venting a little bit but it should be done this weekend, i hope.
and if i have the money left i can get servion to come down and get it on the dyno, with out him doing the base maps we wouldn't even be able to start it.
anyways hows evrybody elses projects comming this year?
the first test and tune in may time is getting short.

Your new setup is going to be a blast! That 3-bar map sensor will definitely come in handy :)
Make sure that you test your entire charge pipe system for leaks this time!!!!
I got the cage NHRA certified to 8.50 this week, and I should be bringing the chassis home monday! Hello streetcar with a parachute

Yeah Angel, you could try out a b16 tranny with the H2B plate... I'm sure you would absolutely love that one! No more cable linkage!
Since you ask, waiting on my rods to come in.. they should be in middle of next week, we'll assemble the motor (Moe from Speed Image and I), and put it in next weekend. Then I need to break in the clutch and motor, and put my turbo on, and tune it.. oh.. and I need to find slicks too. Any suggestions where I can find them for a decent price anyone?

i have been reading up on that for a while trust me I am very interested in doing that. Just have to come up with the money:frown: H2B kit only is almost grand, then have to find a tranny, shift linkage have to reweld the mount on the passenger side. I dont have a garage to do all this plus i cant weld lol:ring:
