Does it ever get "out of round"? I've seen older versions used in wharhouse equipment. If they ran over something substantial they got out of round and had to be replaced.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering. I also wonder if they'd just collapse or deform if you put a lot of load on one tire, like in racing use. Otherwise, they seem like they could give you a better contact patch than air-filled tires.
