I have a 1997 Prelude. It started off when my car overheated. The radiator was very low on coolent so I filling up the radiator with antifreeze. As time went on, the coolent began to run out faster and faster. Now I have to fill it up every week.
Then now it is very hard to start the car, and a lot of white smoke it coming out of my exhaust. I checked the spark plugs and they were wet. I replaced them, and the car started right up. White smoke is still coming out of the exhaust ( a lot of white smoke ). I drove the car around for about 5 minutes until the white smoke wasn't so intense, but then everytime I let the car sit for a while the plugs keep getting wet and the car has a very hard time starting again.
I replaced the Radiator, radiator cap, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition distributer, and starter (I blew the starter trying to start the car so much). The car runs a lot better now (When I can start the car), but I still have white smoke, hard starts (2-5minutes), coolent is still running out.
I've been reading and a lot of threads say that this could be the head gasket? What do you guys think?
