got this manifold from him before he became a DICK. One year and a month later the mother fucker is cracked. FUCK THAT SHIT AND FUCK GJ!!! WORST WELDER IN THE FUCKING WORLD. Cracked on the welds not the manifold.

shit pang is the only way to go, i'll get my manifolds from him only now, he's made a couple of manifolds for my friends so far. I like the quality ten fold. and I know GJ ain't gonna gimme my money back, so i'll have a real welder (pang) fix this for now.

Heh.. I coulda told you his welding > nothing. Four of the items he's welded for me have cracked/completely broken. Including my dump tube, downpipe, manifold, and downpipe again. Gooooo GJ!

He did do all of my welding. I haven't had any trouble with the turbine housings he welded V bands onto or the aluminum intercooler piping, but the #4 cylinder runner is cracked at the flange. The rest of the welding has held up well, except for the Megan racing mufflers- they've been bastardized so many times that it's a miracle they still even exist. I can't blame GJ for them since they had pre-existing problems... I will have to get the manifold/runner#4 weld fixed though. It's spread into the runner itself...

i have seen a bunch of work that GJ has done, and pretty much everything except what goes on his car is crap. i dont think its because he cant do a good job, i think he just gets lazy when its not his.

Yeah, a company that specializes in TIG. They have some cool stuff. This one is a manually applied weld, done by hand in a void chamber.

They are in Denver if you want to get a manifold tigged. Probably cost a million $ though.

I've always wanted to try tigging in a welding chamber. I've never seen something welded in a welding chamber and come out bad. I dont know if its because the welders that work in welding chambers are really experienced or if the complete lack of intruding gasses makes it really easy.

There is only ONE way to produce great welds, lots, and lots, and lots, of practice...which is what I assume anyone has that does it for a living.
Except for GJ of course, cause that weld looks like fucking amature hour..holy shit.
