help: i cant download with IE anymore...

as of about two weeks ago i havent been able to download anything with internet explorer. i get an error message - something along the lines of IE cannaot connect to server. i can download with netscape no problem though.

any ideas?

You can't download anything or you can't even bring up webpages?

If it is the latter make sure that you aren't setup to use a proxy. While in IE go to tools > internet options > connections ....I believe.... then make sure the radio button next to direct connection is checked.

i'll give that a try.

the message is:

"Internet Explorer cannot download member .php?u=3970 from www.highaltitudeimports.com

Internet explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later"

i got that message while trying to download the picture in nates avatar. but i have the same problem with every website i go to.
the website loads no problem, i just cant download anything and this really hinders my "alone time". lol
