My buddy had his house in Denver ransacked. They made off with his range bag. It had a Walther P-22 and a Glock 17 in it. If you see someone selling these cheap. Lemme know. They also got a shitload of CDs and DVDs, stereo etc. etc.
Crazy thing was, the perps were still there when he came home. The front door was chained from the inside. He pulled his other handgun out and kicked in the door. Said he heard someone say "NOW, NOW, NOW!" and footsteps running down the stairs. He quick cleared the upstairs, fearing they might have had his other guns in their hands already. By the time he cleared the basement they had escaped through the window. He said they made off with about $7500 worth of shit. Luckily his rifles were in a safe.
Insurance won't cover it, because it's his parents house, and they don't live there. No renters insurance.
