This makes me like Scientology even less than I did before, if that's even possible.

Hayes - "There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins,"
Stone - "never heard a peep out of Isaac in any way until we did Scientology. He wants a different standard for religions other than his own, and to me, that is where intolerance and bigotry begin."

I like where Stone points out that Hayes never had any problems cashing the checks he got for making fun of Christians.

Its not like chef was in every damn episode like he used to be anyways. he'll be missed but fuck it. Scientology is fucking nutty anyways too.

Who cares? Honestly...?
I predict they make another episode where they make fun of Scientology again and kill Chef, which explains his absence from the show from now on.

Any religion that's started by a guy who says 10 years before he starts it, "If I really wanted to be rich I would stop writing books and start my own religion" That's a rough quote, I'll see if I can find it word for word.)
And then ten years later he starts a religion where you have to pay thousands of dollars to become an elite member, has got to be bad.
Yes that is a terrible sentence, I'm tired

Or they will just make Chef a mute...
So is scientology only for rich people? How many do you know personally? It seems it's a 1337 religion for the rich and famous...

I've been reading about it for a while, they have an institutional policy of treating celebrities differently from regular people. They have special facilities that are only for celebrities. You have to pay money for different treatments that allow you to access higher levels of the religion and get access to more secrets. Attaining higher levels can cost many thousands of dollars or millions at higher levels. Some followers mortgage their houses to attain higher levels. It's a fairly typical mystery-religion if you study this type of stuff.

Hmmm, then I need to make the premium memberships 10,000 a year and make different levels of the "premium member" forum. Depending on how devoted you are to the "faith" of course.

The courageous creators of South Park - Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be on The Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday at 11:35 PM - March 15th - this should be quite a show after the AP article about Isaac Hayes quitting South Park and their renaming and promotion of the segment's Monday night rebroadcast as The Scientology Segment
