so this may be off topic here, but i just wanted to rant about this dude i work with, he has a plymouth duster ( like 72 or some shit) and it has a 340 CID motor and its all built with 10:1 c/r, ported heads, roller rocker valve train, a decent street cam, holly ignition/ distributor, edelbrock intake manifold and carb. blah blah blah, anyways he always talks shit about how he could smoke my crx (turbo b16a) and he wont ever race, because he says he will beat me so bad its not even worth it, he always claims 400 whp, well he had it dynoed today, and after they were done setting the timing and tuning the carb, he ended up with 253 whp and 281 wtq. bahahahahahahaha ;NutKick; thanks for listening to my pointless ran....

I remember I went on a tour to Autosport Werks and he called the dyno "the ego crusher" for this particular reason.

With all that shit on it, it should have been more. That's what happen when you mod the car without knowing what you are doing. Of course it could have been low for lots of reasons, poor tuning, bad tranny, mismatch of parts, bad driver, etc., but still wow that was low. That's why I never say numbers until I know!
