Awesome shooting on part of the shooter. He used the coworker as cover as her drew his glock. I read on glocktalk that the shooter showed up to court in a glock t-shirt. :rofl:
And people ask "why do people need to carry a gun?".

Shooter was 22, NRA instructor
Gun was glock 27 with 165 grain Golden Sabers
BG got 7 years, pleabargined down from 11
BG did not get a shot off
3 shots fired, 3 hits
He didn't get sued or prosecuted (or persecuted for that matter)

"There was about 3 or more feet from my gun to the baby. she was to my left a good bit."
"Police were cool with it, since it's hard to see what he's doing since he's out of the way of the camera. When I pulled and started to yell he jumped back and raised his gun, that's when you can see me kinda ducking, although it may have been a slight delay of action, when I popped back up I just unloaded. The prosecutor was very pro gun about it, and really liked that I got him off the street."
Q: Good shooting. What was the noise like when you shot? Disturbing to the ears? Painful? Or did "auditory exclusion" kick in? Which Glock was that?
A: Auditory exclusion kicked in. I didn't hear any ringing. Glock 27.
Q: How did the lady with the kid react after it was all over? Did you have any more contact with her after the incident?
A: She thanked me a whole bunch, and my co worker wrote me a letter telling me how much she appreciatted the fact that I was armed and stopped him, and how scared she was to go back to work. She's a gun owner now and wants a CCW.
Q: How many times and where did you hit him? what is your carry ammo?
A: 3 times, not sure where they hit, they where 165 grain golden sabers, but I have now switched to winchester 155 grain silvertips, and will probably be switching again when we get some more speer gold dot 155 grainers in. I think they come in that any way, maybe I'll try tap, I just know 165 over penatrated
Q: I didn't read if the baddie fired his gun?
A: No he did not fire his weapon. I thought he was going to for a second because he jumped back and his gun came up, that's when you see me kind of duck out of the way a second, and then come up firing.
