View Full Version : Couple new games for the Xbox 360

I picked up Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Burnout Revenge.

Ghost Recon is the first game i've seen that starts to take advantage of the 360's hardware. I've found myself getting killed in missions because I get distracted by the scenery and realism. Definitely a great game and a must buy if you have a 360.

Burnout is one of those games that you never get sick of playing. It's a car game, but the main point is to crash and destroy stuff. This new one looks great on the 360 and has some new game elements that make it even more fun to play. If you liked the last one you will have fun with this one.

I'm waiting for Elder Scrolls: Oblivion I'll have to buy myself an X360 and lose a year of my life :)

Elder Scrolls looks good. I'm waiting to see Gears of War. That game looks bad ass.

im thinking of picking up Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter today. there is also another war game that i think is out or is comming out soon that i want to get.....but i dont remember the name. is ghost recon a 4 player split screen game?

The graphics in the outfit aren't anything special, but I played the multiplayer demo online and had a fun ass time. Seems like a cool game.

I played the demo of Condemned. That's a twisted ass game, but seems fun.

Are you guys playing the XBOX360 on a HD signal?

I was thinking about getting one... but I dunno. Right now I have like a 27" round TV, but am planning on getting a projector soon.

HD makes a HUGE difference. I play all the games at 1080i on a 55 inch.

I mean... for years I haven't found anything that could actually compare graphics wise to a good gaming PC.

Right now I have a PS2, but that is just more just cheap entertainment and I hardly use it.

Yep, burnout came out the same day as ghost recon. I had no idea it was out either, but they told me at the store.

I used to never play console games because computers had better graphics and such. Xbox360 kills anything I have seen on a computer. The resolution on my 55 inch tv is 1920x1080 instead of 640X480 for a standard tv. I can't see myself playing pc games when I have this hooked up to my tv. The Xbox has a 3 core processor that is faster than anything avaliable on the market today, plus it has a video card that is at least two generations ahead of the pc market.

I may still build a home theater pc, but at this point there isn't much need for it. I can even connect my xbox to my computers in the house and play movies, listen to music, whatever.

Is it like playing a game on a computer?

Once the guy picks up full auto, I'll have to go get burnout and ghost recon. Those are SICK.

Burnout is hawt..Forum came over here yesterday and we played all the way up thru rank 6... :)
