Not really. A pack of hyenas will beat up a pack of lions. Lionesses, rather since the males just lay around most of the time. Plus lions cant afford to get injured since they are hunters. Hyenas are mostly scavengers.

Reading the thread title I thought this was like a preview for a movie or something... nice spelling LOL

Anyhow though, the hyenas have a bite force of 1,000+lbs, which is stronger than that of a male lion - kinda funny the way that works out.
