I was doing some reading on this beast and I can hardly believe what I'm seeing from FORD.

Rated at 390hp, 5.0 magazine dyno'd it at 400 RWHP. Talk about a nice surprise of underrating the power. The only leftover engine part from the 2001 Cobra is the Steel Crank, everything else has been improved to handle the power, with new head design, Manley Rods, and new Block.

The suspension has been reworked again and should have alot less wheel hop, the hood scoops are functional!

All for less than 35k? Not that that is cheap, but compared to a C5, it will out turn and out run one of those lame chevys.

If only I had hit the Lotto:cry:

I will be impressed if it has 350whp and if Ford delivers what they promise for once. I bet you won't get one from dealer for under $40k for at least the first run.

Same here, the new Cobra is badass. Intercooled eaton M112 blower, built internals, that thing should haul ass.

I guess ford is trying to get back into that "bad ass car" network. They seem to be trying hard to compete with the new Fucus, Lightning, Cobra....To bad they still wont beat dodge with the Neon SRT-4 and Ram SRT-10.
