Hey everyone,
another meet coming this Saturday starting at 10AM - 5PM. Lucas from Carz Performance Dynoshop (http://www.carzcustom.com/) has volunteered to host another meet/dyno day. Last couple of meets have been nice, expecting this meet to draw out even more cars. If you want to dyno, he has a Superflo AWD dyno, for Saturday, rates are 3 baseline pulls for $65.00

Even if you don't plan dyno'ing, come on out and meet people, check out what everyone is running, or planning. Go pick Lucas and Don's brain on ideas for yourself. Good chance for some networking. We may have different makes/model vehicles but we are all in it for similar reasons.

Reminder: If you want to get in on future updates for meets, I still have the list going, has 68 people in a short amount of time, I expect it to at least double in the next month or so....then get bigger. PM me your e-mail and I will add it to the list.

Remember, we can't get hassled by local authorities here. Just watch your driving coming into and leaving the area.....

Why not go to meet others like I am doing? I like meeting at shops since local authorities can't bother us. Plus, you get to see what others have....and get to meet some good people.

:werd: While that may be a good rate for an AWD dyno, the going rate for a "dyno day" for us 2-wheel drive guys is $10-20 per pull, or $50 for 3-4 pulls.

Yeah, there are still some cool people and cool cars out there, but general/open car meets tend to attract more street ricers than anything else, so I usually avoid them.

Yeah I understand, just throwing this out there for those of you that may be interested, past few meets I have put together have been anything but rice. As far as the rice goes, I actually don't mind some of them showing up.....if they get a little..... "education". Hehehe. Sometimes, they just don't know, but by coming around, they learn the real deal. Anyways, I have gotten good responses by email and PM's, so see some of you out there on Saturday.....

So then dont go....who cares if there are ricers there, there is usually some pretty chill people at most of the meets who are also interested in cars, reguardless if there car is riced out or not...granted some of them are gay but on average the people that actually go to the meets are chill...

If your going on Wadsworth, towards 70 highway, you would take a left a block before Colfax and about a block up, it'll be on your right hand side.

If your coming the other direction on Wadsworth, go past Colfax, turn right on 14th (one block past colfax) and about a block up, it'll be on your right hand side.:)

I believe it's a nissan/infiniti meet.

Mac's daily baseline rate is $65 for 3 pulls. Usually, their group rates turn out to be $50.

Yeah I know that, but that's not the main purpose of this meet, this is just for a meet-up in town without worrying about local authorities hassling us. Lucas (Carz) would much rather be out talking to people, meeting new faces.

Gotta remember I am new here and don't really know anyone. I have been in CO for about 3 months and am just trying to bring the automotive community together with some good meets. I can put dyno days together if it's requested, that's pretty easy to do, you either have people to commit or not. Just like another meet I set up at D&B, that turned out good, but in the beginning we got booted from the top of the parking lot. This meet, we cannot get booted or hassled by anyone.

Sorry man, actually I didn't, after you left I realized that no pics were taken. I missed a lot of cars, late night and got up a bit early, as the day went on, I found myself spending more and more time inside sitting around. After you had left, we were all talking about how "cool" it was that you and your son had projects going together. Personally, I could care less on how other cars look. IMO I am more interested in performance and project cars in the making. Nothing better than seeing cars in different stages.
