here is the story, of my gsx, and how it went down. this so far is the only was i have seen a buick beat my car.

i was traveling from, cedar rapids to cedar falls, at about 10:30 pm, to meet up with some dsmers. i was going 80 mph about 10 mins from CF. when out of knopw where a buick came horizontal to me. so it hit him go 80 causeing a t bone, after that i really dont remember anything at all. but to my friends were in two cars following me up there. here is what they said happened.

wheni hit the guy i a small fire ball came out of my hood( there go my injectors). we sparked a flew off the road only to come backon to the road when stoped. all teh windows were gone, i was bleeding from, teh back of my head. and my car was bleeding every kind of blood yo ucan think of, (i loved her so much too). after the cops and shit came, and i was taken to teh hospital. the cops told my friends i was lucky to be alive, they think all the extra shit i did to my car helped me enoght to stopp the the other car from crushing me. my the guy of teh other car turned out to be drunk, like a .13 or something like that. and not a scrach on teh fucker , he did not pass go went strait to jail. i got out of teh hospital last night, after i woke up. and i still cant bring my self to drive any car yet, it really is really really scarry i keep seeing the car infront of me. i know over tiem i will get better, but i love to drive and i hope that never changes. yes i do get money from my car crash, with the drunk but it will not be the same withteh next car, yo uknow what i mean.

well there is my story and thanks guys for everythign yo utought me about dsm's and upgrading. it really did save my life!!

peace

What actually survived,it sounds like all the good stuff was squished.

Actually, how did you fare? You didn't say anything about the extent of your injuries.

You tboned a car at 80 mph and lived? Good God man - count your blessings!!!

What mods done to the car protected you? I don't follow that one. Glad you made it out alive. How badly did you get beaten up? Broken bones/casts/etc ? How long in the hospital?

I am glad to hear you are okay. You can always get another car, but there is no replacing your body. So what were your injuries? I hope nothing that is going to be with you for the rest of your life. I got t-boned 3 years ago in a yukon and that was one of the scariest experiences I have ever had.....I came out okay other than the usual neck injury and back pain. But I still ahve to see the doctor for it every month. It is a real pain and I am told it is something that will probalby bother me for most of my life. And to top it off the girl that hit us didnt even have insurance........

Wow, you're lucky to be alive. Sorry about your car too.

Damn drunk drivers, how hard is it to have someone else drive or just drink at home?

Glad to hear you are alive, it must have been a horrific accident. Any permanent injuries to yourself? The money you get from the drunk will be nice, but it sure doesn't give you body parts or life back. My gf was hit by a car when she was 8 yrs. old riding her bike, and the guy was drunk too... she's been getting about $6K every year since 15 I think, but it ends next year... Her leg hurts like a day before it's going to rain or snow, kinda weird, but not worth the money at all... She was in a coma for like a month, and had a 15% chance of living... well she's here today, and her and I both thank god for that. So my point is the money can be good, but a healthy life is better. Thank your guardian angel when you get a chance :)
