Here's the bad :(
I spun a rod bearing on my old motor, so I bought a head and block with 80k miles on it. I rebuilt the new motor with brand new parts and did the swap. So 2 days after the swap was complete I was driving it over to a friends house to work on it, and it just died when I shifted into 2nd. It didn't make any noises when it died :screwy: , it just turned off. And I've attempted to start it a couple of times, but it just won't turn over. I'm thinking its just the starter to get the car running again but I just don't have the time to do it.

Everything else on this car is in excellent shape, newer clutch, tranny is in excellent shape, no problems what so ever. Interior is in awesome shape with the exception of the drivers left bolster shows a little wear, but nothing major. I can also include my old block and crank with the car if you want it. I really feel that all this car needs to run is a little time and a little money into it to get it running right again.

I'm looking to get $4000 for it or trade, and if I can't get around that then I'll just end up keeping it and fixing the minor problems.

If you have any questions just let me know.

Thanks,
Brett

Man it's a very nice Jetta props on making her look clean as hell.. You should try to fix it and get her running good you could probably get $6500-$7500 for it then. Just a thought

Thanks for the bump! I did have it for sale this past summer before I spun a rod bearing and it was supposed to sell for $7000 to a guy in denver but I backed out because I had turbo plans for it...

You can't drive it away anyways because it doesn't run, lol. But on a serious side, it would have steelies.
