I want the new motorola SLVR.. can anyone get them cheaper?

I'm currently a customer of Cingular. I have a crappy ass phone though and had been thinking about getting the new motorola SLVR. I think theyre $200 but thats if you start a new contract. Can anyone get them for that price or lower? Does anyone know of a place that will give me the same hookup if I just change plans?

Dammit! I don't want to pay Sprint $175 to cancel my contract... and it doesn't end until Dec.:cry:

Cingular needs to have a switch-to-us rebate program or something to offset the cost...

Aracheon told me it would just be cheaper to get it from e-bay, last time we were at the movie meet. maybe things have changed since then, i want a SLVR too, my v600 is crapping out on me

I can do 150 if you are eligible for an upgrade. If you want new in box I can do 300, Radioshack retails them for 350 unactivated. I'll be getting them next week or so.

i can get that sony ericson for 99 bucks after rebate. As far as the SLVR, without a contract its going to be tough to get one for cheap. I wouldnt bother with the SLVR anyway and just wait till the RAZRi comes out. Megapixel camera, expandable memory, etc. And even if you still want the SLVR it will drop in price just like the RAZR did when the SLVR came out.

I got my slvr last sunday, after a 3 hour search in Colorado cingular stores. Some didnt want to sell it to me due to low stock, but finally got one. I paid $199 and I am already a cingular customer.
