View Full Version : SO . . . apparently driving a car like this is fine

Because I saw this car go by State Patrol camped out on the side of 287 on the way to work last week, and they didn't get pulled over.

But I get pulled over a couple times a year for not having a front plate, or for loud exhaust.

well duh, he clearly still has his plates and a good muffler ;).

That's just rediculous and unsafe.

:rofl: They can (and should) impound that because it's clearly unsafe, but I bet he wasn't "driving while Asian". ;)

wow, that corolla is really messed up. I would be ashamed to drive it... You should know by now that cops won't pull those people over, just you and everyone else who's really not doing anything wrong... it sucks, I know. :(

They didn't get pulled over because the cops know they won't be able to PAY THEM for the ticket. Double standards are great aren't they.

Not that hard . . . as long as nobody pulls out in front of me or something.

Yeah, that would have been super-ironic if some cop behind me had seen me doing it, and pulled me over for taking pictures while driving.

But let the doubly-totalled Corolla keep going.

At least this car's alignment is still sorta OK. I've seen cars driving on the road with messed up alignment from accidents too - positive camber, etc.

A kid pulled into Medved with a car like that once for the push, pull, and drag sale. He didn't have full coverage and his shit was totaled. It was an escort.
