Ok I have had it- the RT is for sale. I will take 5000 cash. At this price you can buy it, pay someone to fix it, and still come out a little less than one in comparable condition. Car is red with grey leather. I simply do not have the time nor desire at this point to tear this thing apart and put it back together.
The good>
decent paint, only a couple minor dents, and the front fascia paint is chipped a bit
transmission and driveline is in good shape
Leather interior is very nice
carpets in good shape
I have all of the original trunk fiberboards and bins, and they are in decent shape
engine has brand new:
water pump
timing belt
all timing pulleys
pistons and rings
Cylinder heads were just done
new clutch disc,in very low milage cover both EXEDY if I recall
has a forged crank, which will need to be machined
ARP rod bolts
9b turbos in good shape, does boost perfectly
car has had the active exhaust "deleted" at some point in the past, but sounds really good
the ESC works perfectly
The bad-
engine has rod knock and leaks oil from turbo drain or oil pan
the bearing has not spun- yet, but does knock a bit. engine does runa nd the car does drive
Transmission has minor leak
Radio was just stolen, along with the coin/ash tray and cubby that fits under the radio
car has no air filter, also stolen
needs a BOV, I *might* have one at the shop
somehow I ended up with 3 proper directional wheels and one wrong one
all of the wheels are rashed, courtesy of the previous owners, which may also explain the mismatched wheel.
I might have a spare engine(complete longblock) to go with this for a few dollars extra, also with suspected rodknock.
