What I wouldn't do to have a digital camera hidden behind my grill. I took my friend down to to pick his car up from the dealership after getting some work done on it, and we're on Bowles heading back from Broadway. Somewhere in traffic I notice that I'm right behind a 1st gen Acura Legend V6, and my friend is right in front of it. The guy in the Legend is a kid probably still in his teens who, judging from his tailpipe, looked like he went to Pep Boys and got a tailpipe extender. You can tell he's got a stock muffler on, as it's got one small pipe coming out of the muffler spilt into a two chrome tip piece. Funnier then that, he's got it bent over to the right side of the vehicle at a 20* angle from straight back. I'm following him for miles just wanting to show him what's up, until at one point he gets in front of both me and my friend, with me behind my friend. We stop at a light, and as it turns green, I hear a chirp and think nothing of it, bouncing around to Paul Van Dyk cranked up... my friend being right behind him is riding his ass. Another light. Another green, this time he tries to do a burnout, pathetic as it was... my friend still in front of me sees this and does a full two wheel burnout right behind him, smoke going everywhere in a matter of 3-5 seconds. The guy was looking at my friend in his rearview mirror. My cellphone rings 30 seconds later, and I know it's my friend in front of me, and as I look up towards him as I answer the phone, I see him pointing at the guy in the legend who is right next to him in the other lane at this point. I can tell he's hopping up and down lauging his ass off. I answer the phone and he proceeds to tell me that the guy did a pathetic burnout(which I didn't really know at the time), and in the process, his stock exhaust broke and the chrome double tip was currently dragging on the street, sparks flying everywhere. I chuckle again and know this guy must have bad luck on his side. A couple more miles up the road and my friend is a couple of car lengths ahead of the guy in the legend, as I'm just passing the guy in the legend... I look over at the guy, smile, and bounce off the rev limiter two or three times. I put it in gear and take off. Seeing the challenge, he follows me, slowly I might add. He tries to pull even with me, but every time he does I just bounce off the rev limiter again, slam it into 2nd and take off. We did this a couple of times before I tired of it. Oh if only I could show you that tip, it was hillarious... I was practically laughing the whole way back to my friend's house.
