Is that the one where the Duron blows up? I've never tried jacking up the v-core and letting it get really hot and quickly removing the heat sink, but to me it doesn't make sense. Not to mention that they didn't have any pressure on the heatsink because it wasn't clipped down, other than it's own weight. Modern CPU's will shut off to prevent themselves from shit like that happening.

about only 1 in every 100,000 amd (socket A) motherboards...and I'm being generous.
I kinda wonder if they didnt put some explosive underneath the socket or something..I've seen the die itself crack/shatter, but never the ceramic. pretty funny video anyway..even if its old as hell. :p

That aside, what about the fact that there was no thermal paste/grease as well, and more importantly, no pressure holding down the heatsink other than it's own weight? There is no way that the heat from the CPU was being properly dissipated at any point in time during that clip. They "supposedly" had that Duron running at more than 4v according to CPUID (I think that's what they were using). A Duron would shit itself if you fed it more than 4v without some type of phase cooling or something along the lines of sub zero temperatures. I agree on the explosive thing, this was definetly staged/fake/whatever you want to call it.
