I have the D15b and was wondering if the p28 will work fine with it, or should I stick to the P08 ecu. Anybody with the D15b sohc vtec that can help.

There is some good stuff on Honda Tech about it. There arent too many of them here.

i have one running my car! It is a jdm d15b vtec obd-1 with the po8 ecu. I havent tried a p28 but it runs strong. strongest sohc ive felt minus a turbo. I just have a fluctuating idle and occasional spudder but i think its all coolant related... perhaps slightly rich mixture too? Does this ecu look for a 5 wire o2 sensor Tobi? do you know? Other than that it rips pretty hard!!

Yes, a P08 ECU is meant to use a 5 wire Honda oxygen sensor.

that and the temp gauge likes to respond to the throttle. I went through like 4 thermostats. Honda parts and others. All would overheat in like no time. The one that works likes to drop down to C on the gauge sometimes if i get on the throttle. Not even full throttle at that.... its wierd.
