Pizza Hut screwed up the diner order. 4 pizzones, not 2!!!!!! rather then wait the frikkin hour for more food, I hop in the civic to make my own damn pizza run. I may have been traveling a little over the limit:o when I start to pass this SUV that is also going a little over.
Of course, he speeds up.
OK, I don't usually race anybody. Not to mention the fact I'm shortcutting through the hood, and is usually pretty well patroled:cop:. so I slow, better for this car load of immaturity to get the ticket. Must be 6 people in this late 90's pathfider. I see several young ladies, and assume there's at least one guy (the hand flying the bird looks quite masculine).
They slow...
OK damn it, don't mess with a hungery man. All I want is some damn pizza.
I start to pass, they speed up. Ok...
They lurch...
I laugh, this is actually amusing now.
the lurch again.
I engage clutch, slide lever to 2nd, and give a slight blip...
They, uhhhh... well, I think they floored it.
I give them about 7 cars.
I gun it, overtake, blow by, then grab third...
I laugh. light changes. Damn light. PPPIIIZZZAAA
They pull into left turn lane at light and I get full salute:fu:

I think I pissed off a Chevy truck today. He was following me all the way up C470 on my way home from work, and keeping up with me uphill I might add at 85 (don't those top out at like 90?!) So then I let him get in front of me, because there is a corner ahead where cops like to sit, no cop, okay. He's still in front... we turn, I blow through a red light basically on his tail (it's a no right turn on red (;gay; ), and it was green for a while, but didn't stay green long enough for all of us, especially me, so I went for it anyways, seeing as how the the traffic turning left hadn't turned yet. Anyways, we go around this corner later on and I gun it on his tail in second and blow past him... I shift to 3rd and keep going, but now I'm slowing down and he's all over my tail the rest of the way. I don't think he liked being beat by a civic coming from behind. Shit, he'll just have to understand I was in a hurry to get home and see my lady :D It was pretty lame taking down a fullsize pickup and not even a race per se, but fun nonetheless. Sometimes you have to put those SUV and pickup drivers in their place for thinking they are all high and mighty just because they roll on bigger tires and have more torque.

this is a hic town... trucks galore. There are a coouple of guys worth racing, but they'de just smoke me!!!
