I was over on dsmtalk and there was this thread where they dogging this Honda guy for having a boost guage on his "NA" Honda.

So I click the link and low and behold there are pictures of our very own 99SIVTEC's (Brian) car.
Boy did I jump on the thread and let them know what was up.
Somebody did figure it out before I got on it so I just filled them in on your car.

They did get in some cheap remarks like "he's just wishful thinking" and "he's got headers on his car,doesn't look like a turbo is on it's way" and then somebody pointed out that it was SC'd.

Sometimes DSM guys are just so ready to rip on a Honda it kinda embarrasses me as a DSM owner.
Fortunatly several other guys complimented Brian's car on it's rice free appearance and actually liked it.:eek:

hhahaah Funny, at least the guy fessed up about his mistake. Clean car there, never seen pictures of his car like that. Just for the record I still don't see the super. Don't know where you guys put them on imports. :)

That's why people should never "assume" that a car isnt boosted. :=D:

Man how did I miss this thread? One of those guys actually registered over at sport compact racing asking why I had a boost gauge on an NA car. At least they complemented my car, I think that's pretty cool after they found their mistake.

That's one thing about the JR Superchargers, even if you show someone under the hood they may not see it :)

73 camaro, i'll post a pic tomorrow that shows the supercharger a little better. It's under the intake manifold behind the head.

umm isnt that way the intake manifold says jackson racing? how could you miss it :) but i guess some people do:cool:

I would say that 9 out of 10 people that look under my hood miss it. If your not looking for it you may not notice with all the hoses covering it.
