I may know of a couple turbo DSMs and I'm curious if they are worth buying.

One is pretty complete car in decent shape but not perfect. The other is ok but is slightly tweaked in the front and has the front end taken apart.

91 and 92, one 5 speed, one auto. I'm not positive on the AWD.

What are they worth for parting out? Running?

$1000 running, $500-$600 non running.

Depends on the car. I sold my old 92 TSi AWD (6 bolt/4bolt, few mods) for $2,100 at 178,000 miles. I've bought AWD DSMs for around $500, FWD's for less, I've bought non turbos for $700, really depends on what exactly it is.

For the average well running 1G AWD, around $1500.

I would be wary of the auto though, as with all autos they have short lifespans. I have a 93 TSI AWD ATX with a grenaded torque converter, bone stock, it just went pop one day on the highway with no warning. If the auto in question is a FWD, I'll have a manual swap kit within a week once I rip it out of my parts car.

Generally If they are running they are worth more then book value and thats what they go for. If they are not running usually its under $1000. 80% of them are modified today anyway so you cant really just put a number on one.

The 4g63 is a good motor to start with, and will be a good car if you take care of the maintence first.
