i need help with my 99 civic the alternator doesnt charge and it drains my battery really quick i have swapped out the alterantor twice and the same problem keeps happening if anybody knows wat could be wrong please tell me

Have you hooked up any accesories? A lot of times something like this will happen if you have something that keeps pulling power after you turn the car off. Are your alternators actually going bad or are you just swapping them for the hell of it?

yup I got a friend that hook up his CD player and boombox wrong and it drain the shit out of the battery. The amp light still stay on even with the key out of the ignition.

naw all i have is a vtec controller a cd p;ayer that was hooked up at soundtrack when i bought the stereo no subs or amp hooked up to it and a tach that is also hooked up right

and the alternators that i swapped out are good all of them i took to autozone to get them checked and they were all good

So, why did you keep swapping them? There's no point, you've got something else draining your battery.

I would roffel if he says it's the battery that came with the car in '99.

With a knowingly good battery and a knowingly good alternator, what else could be the cause? Bad ground or wiring in general?
