Update
New Price - $1400
I also have a 4th matching CRX wheel waiting, I just have to pick it up.
I bought this car about a year ago for my brother-in-law to drive. He decided he doesn't have money and instead is going to drive his Exploder.
So, it isn't perfect but it would be good for a swap or beater. The main problem is that there is very low compression on cylinder 4, like 20. The other 3 are around 115-125. So, it runs kinda rough, misses at low rpms, but feels decent up higher.
Here is the good, I have a BRAND NEW e-test that is passing so the next owner doesn't have to worry about that and can register it and drive it as a beater until they get money for a swap or another motor or whatever. The new e-test can be transferred to the next owner for like 30 or 60 days.
The good about the car...
NO RUSTY QUARTERS
New E-Test, ready to register
New front rotors / pads
New hatch shocks
Good CD player w/ front component speakers (tweeters in door) and REAR speakers
AC not super cold but worked last summer
Aftermarket exhaust
The bad...
Cylinder 4 shot, misses, runs rough
Slight grind at high RPM in 3rd, not during normal driving, may need shift bushing
1 mismatched wheel, but the H center cap is there for the 4th
Needs R tie rod end (ball joint is shot and vibrates)
Normal door dings, scratches and lost clear coat on roof / hood
Bumpers pushed in a bit, rear worse then front
Suroof a little intermittent, moves fine, motor just weak but the manual tool is in there
Seats are beat to hell, both have padding missing and torn
So, all in all decent car, good for a future swap and unlike a shell can be driven right now. Fairly clean. 200k miles.
I have access to a set of 90-91 Si wheels for an extra $100 w/ purchase
Also have a better set of 88-89 Si seats, slight tear in driver side for $100 w/ purchase
