I've seen a few people around running off-road pipes on newer cars, including the Mustangs. Question.....how do these guys pass emmissions? Do they re-place the off-road pipes before they test? If so, how much work is this? If not what is the secret? The ones without cats are less expessive and produce more hp...therefore I want it! :D

I'm sure they just swap in their stock cats. I swap mine out,go pass emmissions and then put the T pipe back on.

I had to remove my Super and put my throttle body on to pass emissions in CO. Ran like shit when they finally got it to pass. But down here in FL there is no emissions.
Yeah - you simply swap the stock parts back onto the car.

I have emissions test coming up by June so it'll be time to do the cat/t- pipe swap and turn the boost down to 8psi and keep my fingers crossed.

sounds like the offroad pipes are the way to go even if I have to switch em out, since I don't have the "hook up", at least I don't think I do:confused:
