I had that happen to my system about 4 months back. All I could do is reinstall windows. I spent a week trying to fix it.

The one on F-Secure a customer of mine had and I beat it in 3 hours.

I'm sure, that particular one doesn't seem too bad. But the real issue here isn't that virus, its how it got on the machine, theres a big flaw in the way the software handles those files.

I had the one at the second link. Nearly impossible to get rid of that sucker. Even replaced all the related files.
It's happened to me, had it cleaned out in a couple hours after I figured out how to do it.

That was partially patched in the November security patch release, MS05-053
I suspect they will have a patch out next Tuesday for this..... or ealier since it is a critical threat, but I havent heard anything.
