I don't think he knows yet since it's still winter here and our track haven't opened yet plus he just bought it..
Did you already let the warm Florida weather go to your head and forget? :smashfrea
I'm kinda glad our tracks aren't open all year round so I can save mod money. (fix it $$$ too)

Oh yeah, welcome to the board springs_stang.

3rd? I meant 3rd day, sorry. Don't know what it will run 1/4 yet, and I've never been on a track so whatever it should run add 2 sec to that:o I am going to take it to the track and embarrass myself here soon. This will be my first venture in the domestic market, I've had a couple of water-cooled VWs (87 16v GTI & 84 GLI) "back in the day" in FL, that did well against turbo Supras, Monte Carlo SSs, and would hold pretty tight with stock Vettes. I missed buying a very nice VR6 in Denver about a month ago by a day, but I'm actually pretty happy with the aftermarket for the Stang, I'm hoping to have a 10 sec street car sometime next year:D

Don't know if the 10s are achievable, but that is the goal, you guys would probably know bettter than me, but I do know they exist. I'll have to see where I'm at after the bolt-ons, new heads, supercharger & intercooler, and a 50-75 shot of NOS. If I'm close I'll pull the bottom out and rebuild, if not I'll probably settle for what I get out of it. Trust me I'm not tryin to talk smack, I've seen some of the times in here, hell I just wanta stay within 4 car lenghts :gapteeth:

I really never consider one until I lost out on a used VW VR6, and then couldn't find anything even close for the price. Then I found the GT and it was priced pretty well, so I snatched it up. I think the V8 will make a good platform for what I have planned for it:D So now I have a total 3 cars, 24cyl and 15+ litres of displacement at the house, the gas stations love me:cry:

there is no replacement for displacement.. i agree.. even though you suffer from the gas mileage.....but i learned that technology will prevail... hopefully if i make my 12 sec civic a reality....even still,if i use the same mods on a v8 it will kick my ass into the ground... so there!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's all in the surprise... :C

I bought the Mustang instead of a GTI (the GTI was a sweet deal, a 96 VR6 with 30k miles, loaded, and ton of Neuspeed parts for $11k I think) so I can't afford anything else right now, especially after buying rim and tires and a shifter this week, I guess I better get the bank statement this month before the wife does or else she'll be doin this to me :smashfrea I'll keep my ears open tho.
