Note this they're also building it with a slushbox and 3.55 gears. There'll be Mach 1's in the 11's with less than a few thousand invested!!

you know whats really sad about it..it seems to be working! I've seen more damn mustangs on the road lately...!!

I don't know why all the synasicm(sp?) towards the mustang? sure people have thier opinion, and everyone is entitled to it, but I've seen some decently quick mustangs in my life. Not to mention thus far I'm loving mine.

I dont really hate mustangs...Its just that certain cars have owners that think just cause they have that car no one can be faster. Some Honda and DSM owners are the same, but i take my grunts out on Ford cause they suck!

The mustang roof line or c-pillars were changed to resemble the MACH1 from 69, the functional Shaker hood scoop is the same theory as are the wheels , spoiler and paint scheme.

You guys are bitching about a car that has a V8, 300+HP, and 4V per cyl? I don't get it, plus a solid axle, and lower gear ratio.

With little effort they could be pounding the streets with some regularity. If I can afford one, then I might just get one to silence a few critics out there. But I like my old school stuff better.

The new cobra scares me :)..... Honestly 380 Hp and supercharged from the factory. You know whoever buys one is going to keep it stock for about 2 seconds. Which means that I will be getting my ass kicked by a bunch of cobra's. Did they at least change the body at all in the new Cobra so I can run for my life if I come across one?

Well if they add 30hp too the package and the 4 valves per cylinder it won't be that bad.
The Bullit only had a few ponies and a little bit of torque more than the GT's,so you really were just paying for *bling*.

The Cobra has an ugly front fascia, and I believe it will have the emblem on the fender as well. But it is hella fast!!!


The MACH1 has the Cobra motor with the Lightning intake cam and a new grind for exhaust. The mufflers are tuned for the car and the functional ram air shaker hood is sweet for factory stuff.
It should easily put out 310 - 320 hp. For FORD, that gets me all giddy inside.:D

some 4.10:1 gears and a few minor mods, that car should be a real threat in near stock trim.

It would smoke a bullit, that is pretty much cosmetic with a better intake on the GT motor, not much else.

Yeah, the S2's gone...I won't deliver it until the middle of April, but for all pretensive purposes, it's sold.

The good news is that I got a nice luxo-barge as a daily driver.
