Well after a night last week I really don't wanna race people too much on the street. I was coming home from work and making right hand turn to get to my place...well the Mustang that was waiting at the light gets next to me pretty quick...so I tried to speed up to pass him and he wouldnt allow that....so I missed my turn and said OK. I got back on it in 2nd gear and we both took off... to my surprise was ahead of him at the top of 2nd by a nose...shifted into 3rd and by the middle of it I got on the breaks hard since I dont want to continue.....

So if you see a Black Mustang GT rollin on nice 15 inch chrome...give him a bigh thumbs up for me will ya :smoker:

yeah Mustang GT's aren't all that impressive, my STS has yet to be beaten by a GT, and there are plenty around looking to race :)

What year was the 'stang? Prior to '99 they could only run low 15s in the 1/4 but the '99+ models do it in 14 flat.

I hope you mean 15 flat because even the 99 cobra's don't run 14 flat here.

When I'm quoting stock times from cars I always mean sea level and then you can make your own altitude adjustments. A new GT runs very low 15s up here.

My car is still waiting for all the parts to be installed. I'm not doing anything REAL crazy yet, but my installer's trying to talk me into spending more money.

I've been building my car into a similar car that's running 10.3's now. I still need a better fuel system and I'll eventually need a bigger blower.

This latest round of $$$ is just some strengthening....(is that even a word??)

Not sure, but it sounds good to me, that's what I'm doing too

I think it was a newer one...the only way I can tell is by the taillights....
