This is my 1987 Honda Crx SI, Im not done with it at all yet, the only thing that is completed is motor swap and turbocharging, I still want to do alot of body work, Im sticking to the sleeper look. Its rather fast, Ive had so many compliments on this car, and then again ive been lauged at alot with this car to, Just because of the simple fact that it is a honda, When You live in a state that is built around military brats with muscle cars, Its hard to fit in without a good 300HP. After about 8K worth of work its finnally able to touch the road. It didnt take long for me to start racing this car. I messed around on the street alot until one of my boys brought it to my attention that I should enter the autocross. I knew my car was capible of keeping up, But how long would it last?. seeing as this is the the first few days in which my car was running and It wasnt even tuned yet. I went ahead and enterd the race. I came out in 3rd place on the first run and then 2nd on the second run, Without being tuned at all. Watch out next year boys. Im coming fully tuned. I dont wanna sit here and jibba jabba to long about this car. I wanna try and keep it alittle top secret. LOL all tho Ive showed alot of pictures on this site so far. I dont usually open the hood for anyone, I just let them see the front mount and I let it ride from there. Next mod for this car is probably going to be a candyred paint job, and maybe a new set of shoes. I love this motor to death, It sounds very nice, very high RPM, but... I think I am going to swap this motor out with a H22, I would like to run the autocross for a while, autocross is a great sport and If you have a track around your house go ahead and enter. The speed of your car doenst matter, everyone is out there to have fun, Ive seen some pretty funny cars out there but noone really says anything because everyone is there for the same reason. They love to race. I love my crx so much but as we all know crx's cant drift and I am addicted to drifting as well. I had a guy offer a trade for his 1987 Turbo supra with full Tein suspension, perfectly set-up for drifting. So I think by the end of the summer I will no longer own the Rexy. Anyone that might have something better that is willing to work deals, it doesnt hurt to ask. I hope you enjoy my ride. I am glad to anwser any questions anyone has about my car.

Its ugly with his "body work" but its probably fast as fuck.

I don't care for the body work...and it looks like an 84-85 model judging by the headlights, but I have an 87 and an 86 crx si and I love them to death.

If he's planning to run AutoX he should definitaly not put an H22 in it or he won't be able to steer, that's a pretty heavy engine for that car. I personally wouldn't put an H22 in one unless it was dragstrip only.... but apparently he doesnt' know what he's doing with it anyway.

I like the car, don't like the color/s or the old style headlights.

h22 weighs like 20lbs more than a B series.

Yeah man, what are you talking about.
H22 makes a bunch more torque for auto-x too.

An H22 barely fits in an EF CRX, I doubt an H22 will fit in one of those CRX's. B series have a tough time fitting in those Rex's.

really?? I thought the H22 was heavier than that...oh well.... I still love my zc anyhoo

and, unless I'm mistaken (again) the H22 will fit but the stock hood won't close over it
