View Full Version : PMI test and tune today....Some fast cars were there.

It was a good showing there, lots of fast imports and lots of slow Mustangs....

My friend in his Si could only manage a 16.7, but he could only get a 2.6 60. Hes getting his JRSC put on next week so he was just trying to get a base line number.

My other friend in his 2001 2.5rs got a 14.09 with a 1.8 60. All he has is a intake, exhaust, i think header, and a 75 dry shot. We were all pretty stoked for him.

Most of the mustangs were running in the 15s. They were getting picked on by lots of impots...Everything from a turbo Civic to a turbo Tercel. A NSX showed up and ran mid 15s.

A guy that comes here everyonce in a while ran a 13.8 or .7 with his WRX, and he was only pushing it to a 2.0-2.1 60.

The only bad thing was that there wasnt a single first gen DSM, and the 2nd gens couldnt break into the 14s. I think there was about 6 of them, 2 with FMIC's but those must have been for looks.

All in all besides the fact that it was cold, it was pretty fun.
I cant wait to get some street tire so i can run.

Did you happen to see a quick, black GTI down there? He's SC'd and claims he's hit a 14.1 at PMI....

your talking about my friend Eddie. He has a VR6 supercharged.
No, actually we havent heard from him for a while, since he got a new girlfriend. But his car is pretty quick, especially from a roll.

Well at least i think thats who your talking about. Their was a golf there but i assumed he was turbo cause of his FMIC.

Damn,i should have went down there and nailed some 13s with my stock side mount IC and "puny" exhaust. :guns:

You truly would have been a V8SpankR cause all the v8s made alot of noise, but none really even moved very quick.

Well if your's was up and running I'd still need a bit more power,I'll stick with the 5 slows in the mean time.
Man,I can't believe you had that kinda crappy luck.
I hope this isn't a trend in HAI this year.:eek:

no, The fast cars were some of the imports...ok, not fast but quick. There was a hand full of 13 second cars.
