Ferrari donates proceeds of 400th Enzo to Pope

I guess the Pope doesn?t like sports cars. Ferrari?s 400th Enzo, which it originally donated to Pope John Paul II before his death, has been sold by Ferrari at Sotheby?s to an unnamed American rich dude for $1.1 million, twice the going rate. The company then gave the money to Pope Benedict XVI for humanitarian relief.
Evidently, Benedict didn?t want the Enzo for his personal popemobile, saying that he has enough trouble trying to ?drive the church.?

All that pope is gonna do is buy some more $700 dollar shades, and $900 dollar shoes. Maybe he'll even buy a gold chain for some bling factor. That pope strikes me as someone not worth of that position - kinda rubs me the wrong way with his 'flashyness'. Arent you a man of God and humble? Apparently not har har!

I like how everyone is bothered by the whole shoes thing. The Catholic church is I think the second most wealthy organization in the world (the Mormon Church is the most rich organization in the entire world) but the leader can't have a pair of $700 shoes.

Practice what you teach. That's why it's so upsetting. But who knows, maybe the fact that Jesus is depicted as having 'slippers' back in his day actually was showing off the fact that he was 'hip', trendy, and most of all the fact he paid 3 sheep for those things really showed off that he was a man in the 'high class'. I'm not personally really broken over the new pope, fact is I dont care about him. The pope didnt write the bible. But he is making it pretty easy to attract negligable stuff. If i was dirt poor and I saw the pope wearing all that while I went to church devoutely I'd be pretty upset honestly.

The dudes a Pollock, he wouldn't know how to drive the beast, and if he tried he'd just get confused.
