Well this afternoon I went to go do some test runs with some new plugs to see if my stuttering problem went away. As I was shifting into 3rd I heard a POW from under the hood. I quickly got off the gas and went to put the car in neutral. Well guess what I was in 5th. Clutch still worked but I could not get in any other gears. Tomorrow I'm going to pull the tranny out and see how much metal comes out. I'm suspecting a broken fork is the culprit. Man if its not one thing its another eh?

I guess while I have it torn apart I'm going to check a few other odds and ends to make sure they are still tight. And if I've got enough room I'm going to do the suspension work like I wanted.

I think I'll stop bitching about my car's issues.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you didn't get a lot of loose metal flying around.

Well it took me about 45 mins to get the tranny out from start to finish. Another 3 hours to get it torn apart. Sure enough the fork for 3,4 is busted. New parts will be in tues or weds and it will be back on the street saturday of next weekend :)

Sounds like an easy fix, try not to really break it until the seson is here OK?

That sucks! My car is down too, I will get it back up as soon as I save enough money. :)
