2007 Camaro Concept

Autoblog reader Scott Wagoner performed a simple Google search to find this page on ArkansasCamaro.com that features a collection of nearly all the best guess concept sketches for what the next generation Camaro/Chevelle/Mustang-killer

might look like. While we?ve seen most of these before, there are a couple rare ones and more than a few good ideas in
there from which GM could choose.

This reminds me of a contest that appeared way back in Motor Trend during the redesign of the 1994 Mustang. I don?t
remember the details, but the gist was that readers submitted their designs of what the new Mustang should look like
and the winner?s entry would be incorporated into the new model. Anyone remember that, as well?

Perhaps GM should tap the throngs of eagerly awaiting Camaro fans who are so impatient for the new car to
materialize that they?ve taken pencil in hand to move the process along.Source: Autoblog

I guess that's one good way to bring back a POS. Make it look like the old POS.

My subaru will be gone instantly the day a new chevelle/camaro comes out.

I concur with my Z even if it's FI'd - Depending on the motor they put in it.

Why? Is it under a spell?

I will buy one the day they come out as well if they remain close to the concept. It's a HOT car with LOTS of potential.

Agreed I am a big fan of the old school Camaro's, as long as nothing in the realms of the engineering they have used in the last 20 years goes into it... maybe a little corvette engineering and a 327 and 396 model... Ya

You should be shot in the head for making that comment.

There is always someone faster no matter what you drive. My car isn't the fastest thing on the road, but good enough to beat 98 percent. With a few mods I doubt I will have any problems with anything on the street.

I know what you mean. I can hold my own on the track and street, just would hate to buy a car for even $20,000 and have my ass handed by a honda or others

I really hope that gm doesn't do that, come on, this retro thing is getting way outta hand. It' disgusting because the designers already have a template to start from! Where's the originality? I mean look at the new mustang and the ford gt, those cars give me diarrhea.

Not bad, but because of how I am with muscle cars.... I would MUCH rather have a 68 Camaro w/ a 327.
I've seen a couple (mostly in magazines) that had SCHWEET paint jobs & were equipped w/ 18" wheels (maybe 19s) that looked soooooo choice!
If I could find one worthy of my time (restoration & price wise), I would dump all my thoughts of a TT G35, TT 05 GTO & go with that. Figure out some way of turbo charging a 68 Camaro..... oh yeah! Especially w/ some high back bucket Recaros! Schwing!
