is it just me, or someone also noticed that more and more cars are driving with their high beams on? or if its not high-beam, then it's sky-shooting low beam or plain simple fucked up bulbes.. wonder if cops ever pull someone over for driving with high-beams... wishful thinking..
and uhm, yeah, i know i need good tint ;)

Today driving to work I swear EVERY suv was behind me and we all know how bright those lights are :guns: . Then after I thought all was done this probe came up behind me with THE most fucked up aiming on his headlights  .
I really need to get some tint, well that and summer it's beneficial too ;) .

i've been pulled over twice in the S2K because the cop thought i was flashing my high beams... i wasn't, it's just the sharp cutoff of the HID's and the stiff suspension... i see a lot of cars with HIDs that when on rough roads it appears they are flashing their high beams.
Over in the undeveloped areas east of E-470 theres barely any street lights if any at all. So high beams are needed, but I think I'm about the only one that will turn them off when oncomming traffic comes so I won't blind them, everyone else seems to be just fine with blinding the hell out of me.
But in the city I have noticed the car behind me lighting up my entire car with their high-beams quite often.

HIDs are different! I know what you're talking about, Simon, they do seem to flash on rough road. but HIDs never yet blinded me from behind. it's the regular lights that cause the problem..

I seem to be getting flashed by a number of people who think I'm using my brights when I'm not.
I have yet to take it back to Subaru and have the head-lights adjusted.... cause I'm lazy!
Other than that..... I HAVE noticed more people using their brights. This car sits higher than my Accord did.... so I know it's not the positioning of the ride that's making the difference!

Yeah, I'm constantly blinded by cars. It sucks. Stupid lowered cars.

i was going to say just that - my new accord is higher than my old one, and yes, i can say height of ride doesn't make any difference

Glad i'm not the only one..
I'm with you all on this one. It rocks in the Civic having 5% for this reason alone, yet, on some cars the 5% STILL isn't dark enough!!

lowered cars suck when there is like an escalade or other suv + hid behind you blinding the shit out of you. yesterday i was driving down parker and some older accord was driving behind me driving/flashing the highbeams dont know why so i slowed down got behind them figured i'd return the favor. bi-xenon > them. i've had people pull over to the side before because on bumpy roads my cutoff resembles blue flashing lights? i still get paranoid around the cops but i dont think they got a clue or care about my retro.

It does to a point....but for the most part, you're right.
I think the best thing to thwart this is tint and drive during the day :D .
