Anyone else have a DLP TV?

I have had a DLP Samsung for about a year now and was wondering what to look for when the bulb starts to go out. Within the last few days the TV turns off while I am watching and the Lamp light sometimes is flashing (only 50% of the time) The rest of the time I can just turn it back on. The guy at the store said he bought one and replaced it a few weeks later. I just want to know if this means I have to buy a new lamp or not?

Ours went out of focus but was also doing what yours is doing, my friends had a big red spot over the center of it that covered about 75%. Both were replaced by the store.

Talked to a couple of people yesterday he said I should call Samsung and have someone come look at it. I used some canned duster and sprayed the crap out of it and it didnt shut off last night. I think it was getting too hot from the dust on the bulb and causing the auto shut off to activate so it won't over heat. I have to get my heater duct's clean I get lots of dust in the winter in my house.
